13 Miles east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, off of State Route 230, the Amtrak Station Mount Joy (MJY) provides area residents access to the Keystone Service Amtrak Line, with an average of 15 trains making daily stops at the station. The Mount Joy Station serves over 53,000 passengers annually, with the Keystone Service Line stretching from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to New York City, with a stop in Philadelphia along the way.

The Amtrak Station Mount Joy is not a full service Amtrak Station, so to speak, but a pair of temporary shelters on a platform located at the base of a trench off of East Henry Street in downtown Mount Joy. As such, there is no ticketing agent or baggage check; however, despite the Spartan condition of the Station, it continues to increase ridership in excess of 15% annually.

Located at the intersection of North Market Street on East Henry, the Amtrak Station Mount Joy is within walking distance of Memorial Park, Bube’s Brewery, and Borough Park.
