In the Oklahoma community of Norman, the Amtrak station is located on North Jones Avenue, in between East Comanche and East Eufaula Streets more or less in the heart of town. The station building is a split-purpose facility, serving on the one hand as the site of the Amtrak station and on the other hand as the community arts center, the Norman Performing Arts Studio, which is a local non-profit organization.

The station house is known as the Norman Depot, and it is relatively unique among Amtrak stations in that volunteers (from both Passenger Rail Oklahoma and the arts studio) receive and help passengers embark. The station lies along the Heartland Flyer Amtrak service line, which connects Fort Worth, Texas on one end and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on the other.
