The Amtrak Station Port Huron, located at 2223 16th Street, provides regional travelers to the area of Port Huron, Michigan with a convenient alternative to traditional transport. As the terminus station on the Blue Water line, the station connects passengers to cities as far away as Chicago, Illinois. This station consists of an enclosed waiting area, and travelers on the line are allowed up to two suitcases in addition to various “personal items,” such as laptops, briefcases, infant equipment, and purses. This Amtrak station served as a U.S. Immigration Office up until 2004, when it stopped being serviced by the International Limited line of VIA Rail. There are no checked baggage hours here, but restrooms and payphones are available.
