Serving the city of Warrensburg, Missouri is the Warrensburg Amtrak Station. Originally opened in 1890 by the Missouri Pacific Railroad, the building is made of sandstone and designed in the Richardonian Romanesque style.

Warrensburg Station is served by four trains daily – two that travel to and from Kansas City, and two that travel to and from St. Louis. Many travelers use these trains to connect to longer lines such as the Southwest Chief that runs through Kansas City and onto Los Angeles. Through St. Louis, train riders can get to San Antonio on the Texas Eagle.

The station also houses the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, which provides information about the surrounding area. Visitors can find out about local hotels like the Holiday Inn and Econo Lodge and surrounding attractions such as Grover Park and Warrensburg Cemetery.
