One of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, the Andy Warhol Museum is located on the North Shore of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Opened in May of 1994, the Andy Warhol Museum is the largest in the world dedicated to a single artist, holding more than 4,000 works in media ranging from paint, to drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures and installations, the entire Andy Warhol Video Collection, Screen Tests and 45 other Warhol films. Amongst the contents of the Museum’s archives are Warhol’s Time Capsules. Also featuring contemporary art from boundary-pushing artists, the Warhol Museum is not only home to the extensive permanent collection but special exhibitions and programs and events. The museum is open from 10am-5pm every day except Monday, and stays open until 10pm on Friday evenings. Special holiday hours apply. Admissions are $15 for adults, $9 for senior citizens, $8 for students and children aged 3-18, and half-priced Friday evenings. Museum parking is available for a flat rate of $6.
