Arena Garibaldi - Stadio Romeo Anconetani is the home ground of Pisa Calcio, a soccer team in Pisa, Italy. The stadium "Arena Garibaldi" was officially inaugurated on 26 October 1919. In practice it was a simple playing field, because the bleachers were not formed by a fixed structure. Then followed the building, the grandstand and the steps, and was re-opened on 8 October 1931 under the name "Field Littorio. The fall of fascism, the stage took up the name of Arena Garibaldi. In the sixties the two curves were constructed. In the eighties, which coincide with the era of Romeo Anconetani, the new grandstand was rebuilt. Finally, in the summer of 1990, in the return leg in Serie A have been completed the overall plant renovations, installing new lighting towers for more uniform illumination of the field of play, the lowering of all areas and the demolition of the athletics track, which led the Arena Garibaldi's capacity of 25,000 seats (at the moment reduced to about 17,000 for public order problems). In December 2001 the old stadium was a national chair of Pisa cointestato quintessential Romeo Anconetani.

Upon return to Serie B after 13 years the stadium has undergone development work rules, especially in the curve north, an area popular supporters Pisa, which was expanded by about 2,000 seats as a result of numerous requests for tickets for the sector (which became even more popular after the promotion). The extension takes place through the installation of colored seats in the lower part of the curve, while other areas were equal in their capacity. On June 6, 2009, the stadium was used for the friendly match Italy - Northern Ireland, with a final score of 3-0 for the Azzurri.
