Open since 1902, Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo is one of the quirkiest local attractions. There are a number of different daily activities, including alligator feed shows, where visitors can actually watch alligators having their lunch, as well as the unique opportunity to pet a live alligator. Additionally, a number of exotic creatures such as pygmy goats are part of the petting zoo, where visitors can also pet white tail deer.

In addition to the goats, deer, and alligators, Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo has a bevvy of other creatures, including wild turkeys, different types of apes and monkeys, and even some lemurs. There are a number of different enclosures throughout the park housing animals from all over the world, so it's possible to spend an entire afternoon and not get bored thanks to the incredible diversity of creatures.

Open year-round from nine-thirty in the morning until five in the afternoon, Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo is a great place to bring any youngsters interested in wildlife.
