They also feature works representing the state’s cultural heritage, thus there are pieces from Studio Craft, Black Mountain College and Cherokee artists as well. Nonpermanent exhibitions delve into regional topics and take a look at modern and classic national artists. There are adult and college education programs as well as educational events and activities for kids. Opening hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 - 5 p.m. Tickets cost $6 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and children under four are free. The Downtown Inn and Suites as well as Haywood Park Hotel are located nearby.
