Aspen's Harris Hall hosts a multitude of musical performances and film screenings each year, including the Annual Aspen Filmfest Academy Screenings. Beyond the impressive array of performances and screenings presented within its walls, what makes Harris Hall unique is its interesting architecture. Built to showcase modern design, it boasts a jagged roof that is truly one-of-a-kind. When guests step through the front entrance, they are transported from the seemingly small 10-foot high exterior to a 50-foot ceiling state of the art theater. The hall's location on a hill creates this interesting facade, as the entrance is perched just above the ground. While the Harris Theater has architecture interesting enough to merit a visit in its own right, the multitude of annual performances and film screenings are what make this a true jewel in the middle of Aspen.
