Asturias Airport (ICAO: LEAS) is the principal airport of Asturias, Spain. It is located in Santiago del Monte, in the municipality of Castrillon. Nearby towns are Aviles (15 km), Gijon (40 km) and Oviedo (47 km). Eight airlines operate from Asturias Airport.Traffic consists primarily of scheduled domestic flights, mostly to and from Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona, Tenerife Sur and Palma de Mallorca. The airport may be reached both by the A-8 motorway and the N-632 national highway. Alsa offers bus service between the airport and the cities of Aviles, Gijon and Oviedo. Some of the lines also stop in Piedras Blancas and Salinas. Taxi service is also available.
