Atlanta Botanical Garden

Hotels near Atlanta Botanical Garden, Atlanta (Georgia), United States .

The Atlanta Botanical Garden was established in 1976 upon petition from members of the local community, and since then it has grown into one of the more striking and sizeable botanical gardens in the nation. The gardens occupy a total of 30 acres and are located right along side Piedmont Park, maintaining the botanical gardens within broader green surroundings.

The gardens have had enormous success in expanding over the years, and among the main attractions at the gardens are: the Dorothy Chapman Fuqua Conservatory, the Japanese Garden, the Hardin Visitor Center, the Center for Conservation and Education, and the Aquatic Plant Pond.
Entrance to the Atlanta Botanical Garden (as of September of 2009) costs $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and children, and is free for children below the age of three.

The gardens are surrounded by several different lodging options, not surprising considering its location in the middle of the city. A few options are the Virginia Highland Bed and Breakfast, the Colony Square Hotel, or the Atlanta Marriott Suites Midtown.
