Atlantic Station is a major development combining commercial, residential and other sections all of which have been inaugurated on the site of an enormous brownfield in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Atlantic Station is so big that it is considered to be its own neighborhood, and the US Postal Service actually gave it its own zip code since inauguration.

Atlantic Station's motto is "Life happens here," which tries to communicate its stated purpose of combining all the necessities of modern life in a concentrated zone. The neighborhood's developers (amongst which the presence of AIG is the most significant) have professed the lofty goal of trying to make Atlantic Station the most enjoyable and livable urban neighborhood in the country.

Atlantic Station is divided into four main parts: the Home Park, full of residential houses; the District, where retailers and other entertainment businesses reside; the Commons, where green spaces and a lake with fountain create a pleasant meeting space; and the Village, dominated by an enormous Ikea and various residential homes. There is also a small golf course and park area along Atlantic Station's southern boundary.
