The Auckland Botanic Gardens, located in Manuwera, Auckland, New Zealand, is a botanical garden spanning 64 hectares of land. The garden is said to hold over 10,000 plants. The land that the garden stands on was first purchased by the Auckland Regional Authority. It was later transferred into the hands of the Auckland Regional Council.

Plant collections found in the Auckland Botanic Gardens include New Zealand native plants. A Native Plant Identification Trail is available for access to visitors. Other collections include the Flax Collection, the Threatened Native Plants Collection, the Native Plants Ideas, and the Kauri Grove. The Gardens also has a collection of Roses, Camellia, Palms, and Perennials. An Edible Garden is also found on site.

The gardens are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during Daylight Saving Hours and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. during non-daylight saving hours. The visitor center is also open everyday, except Christmas Day. Opening hours for the visitor center is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends. The library found on the garden’s premises is open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, except on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
