The Aviation Museum of Kentucky is located at the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky. The permanent collection of the museum includes documents, photos, historic airplanes and training equipment all related to the history and enjoyment of aviation. The museum also features a library, an aircraft restoration and repair shop and over 12,000 square feet of exhibit space.

The museum displays both military and civilian aircraft and most of the displays are items donated by members of the Kentucky Aviation Roundtable, a local group of aviation enthusiasts.

The Aviation Museum of Kentucky is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Museum closure dates include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Easter.
