The Baltimore Museum of History was established in 1977 to preserve the city's strong industrial traditions and history. The museum is located in what used to be an oyster cannery, and is located at 1415 Key Highway, Inner Harbor, Baltimore.

The museum consists of various industrial exhibits that cover the food industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the mechanical industry, the garment industry, and the printing industry among others. Parts of the museum are designed with an interactive purpose, and student groups can visit the museum to experience what life would have been like at the end of the 19th century in such working capacities.
The museum rents out part of its galleries and its waterfront area to private groups for special events, etc.

There are also special collections of archives at the museum, pertaining to various industrial groups in the fields mentioned above.
The museum operates on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am-4pm, and Sundays from 11am-4pm. Admission rates for the museum are $10 for adults and $6 for seniors, students with ID and children.
