Bamako Airport or Bamako Senou International Airport is located at the capital city of Mali, West Africa. It is 15 kilometre south of Bamako downtown and confined within the district limits. Runway of the airport stretches up to an estimated 8,858 ft with an elevation of 1,247 ft. The whole airport operation is rune and managed by Aéroports du Mali or ADM and is registered under the Malian Ministry of Equipment and Transport. Passenger traffic increased progressively in 2000 and onwards. Authorities anticipate a rapid increase in passenger population in 2015. An approximate 900,000 is expected to visit and do business in Bamako after a couple of years considering the 4% growth trend.

There are at least 27 airlines and domestic carriers that operate at a regular basis. Some of the domestic flights include Timbuktu, Mopti, Kayes, Kidal, Gao and Sikasso which frequent the regional capital of Mali.
