Bank of America Tower

Hotels near Bank of America Tower, Seattle, United States .

Formerly known as the Bank of America Tower, the Columbia Center is the tallest building in downtown Seattle, and the second tallest building on the West Coast of the United States. The 76-story skyscraper was completed in 1985, and stands 937 feet tall, occupying the block bounded by 4th and 5th Avenues to the west and east, and Columbia and Cherry Streets to the north and south.

With over 1.5 million square feet of space, the Columbia Center is home to offices of a number of large companies including Bank of America, Amazon.com, and multi-national law firm DLA Piper. Additionally, the 73rd floor houses an observation deck, which many Seattle residents believe offers a better view of the city and surrounding area than does the more popular space needle, at a cost of $5 per person. The upper two floors of the Columbia Center are comprised of the prestigious Columbia Tower Club.

The Columbia Center is located at 701 Fifth Avenue in downtown Seattle, Washington. Street and private parking garages are available downtown, and tickets for the observation deck can be purchased at the security desk of the building. Local hotel accommodations include the Arctic Club Hotel, Fairmont Olympic Hotel Seattle, Crowne Plaza Seattle Hotel, and the Hotel Monaco Seattle.
