Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station is one of America’s premier transportation hub and historical landmarks. The station opened in1993, shortly after the peak of expansion by the Pennsylvania Railroad. Recognized at the time not only for its importance in transportation but also for its innovative features such as an electric intercom and a reinforced roof, it quickly grew to become one of the central hubs of movement in the country.

Today, 30th Street Station plays host to 20,000 commuters daily. It is served by trains from SEPTA, Amtrak and New Jersey Transit and features trains to and from several cities including Washington D.C. and Newark.

30th Street Station is also the home of several great eateries and shops for travelers with a bit of time to kill. Parking at the station is made as easily as possible, and garage, short-term and metered parking are available.
