Just across Interstate 405 from the historic Old Town Chinatown District of Portland, the 3D Center of Art & Photography is a non-profit museum and art gallery dedicated to contemporary and antique three dimensional imagery. The Center documents the history of 3D photography, from its beginnings during the American Civil War to contemporary, state-of-the art use within the Space Program. In addition to photography and imagery, the Center displays a number of vintage 3D cameras and projectors, as well as the latest such devices to hit the market.

In addition to their permanent collection, the 3D Center of Art & Photography features the work of a new artist monthly, debuting the new exhibits on the first Thursday of each month, when all art galleries in downtown Portland extend their hours for a monthly art walk. The Center also hosts a number of classes and workshops for those interested in learning how to create their own 3D imagery.

The 3D Center of Art & Photography is located at 1928 Northwest Lovejoy Street in downtown Portland. Hours of operation are Thursday through Saturday from 11 A.M. until 5 P.M., and Sunday from 1 P.M. until 5 P.M., with admission free for children under 15, and $5 for visitors over 15.
