La Baule Golf courses are only a few kilometers from the Atlantic at the edge of the Briere Regional Park in La Baule-Escoublac in France. Spread over 220 hectares The Golf International Barriere La Baule was designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss in 1976 and Michel Gayon later made modifications.

La Baule Golf consists of three golf courses. The 18 hole Lucien Barriere golf course stretches over 6622 yards par 72 and has many water obstacles among its greens. The 18 hole Diane Barriere Desseigne stretches over 6890 yards par 72 providing a deep contrast in styles between holes that are exposed to the open and those that weave their way around a huge lake measuring 5 hectares. The 9 hole par 36 Francois Andre is found in a beautiful and natural setting with a certain standard of difficulty found in most modern golf courses.

La Baule Beach with its golden sands is a popular seaside resort in France. The beach goes on for several miles and has the best of facilities providing good refreshments as well as beach accessories so you can spend the day basking in the sun.

Don’t miss the equestrian centre for an entire range of pony trekking or horse riding experiences for all ages. Even if it is your first time, the friendly staff will put you at ease by giving you the requisite training and equipment.

If angling is one of your favorite pastimes, then the Deep Sea Fishing club will be of interest to you. It could be fishing from the shore when the tide goes out or from little boats so catch bigger fish that live off this coastline.

Don’t forget to visit the Casino Barriere located in the middle of the beach with some nice trees and plants around.
