The Baux-de-Provence Golf is situated at the bottom of the village of Baux de Provence in the center of the regional Alpilles park in Arles in France.

The picturesque 9 hole course stretching over 16 hectares also known as Alpilles is found in an excellent position in the middle of the olive trees, vines and perfumes of Provence. It was opened in 1989 having been designed by Martin Hawtree, the English architect.

The Antique Theatre is one of the most amazing pieces of Roman architecture but it is indeed sad that most of the theatre was taken apart so that the material could be used to build other structures. Although a few original parts of it remain, it is worth taking a look.

The Jardin d’Eté is one of the few public parks in the center of Arles. Bordered by superb architecture varying from the Roman times to date, these gardens have been a great place for relaxation for the local people. They are very well maintained and come summer, you even find tourists sitting there and watching the world go by.

The Vincent Van Gogh Foundation has been set up in memory of Van Gogh, one of the greatest artists to have lived in Arles and painted much of the town and the surrounding area in his works of art. It exhibits a host of paintings of artists who were influenced by Van Gogh.

The Thermes de Constantin or Roman baths are said to have been constructed in the 4th century and remind us of the architectural influence the Romans had besides political and social in this area. The baths are in a very good state and are open all through the week for visitors.
