BayArena

BayArena is a football stadium located in Leverkusen, Germany. It was first open on the fourth of September 1932. The BayArena was built as a multifunctional complex, and includes in addition to meeting rooms and the club's official fan shop and the restaurant "calcio", a mix of restaurant, bar and club which is operated in the South Stand of the Bavarian cuisine. In addition, the BayArena was the first stadium in Europe with a McDonald's restaurant and a four-star hotel, the Lindner Group, with 200 beds. The hotel is behind the North Stand that has 120 lodges on the fourth floor seats with an unobstructed view to the stadium interior.
With a spectator capacity of 30,210 seats, it is one of the smaller stages of the Bundesliga. In addition, there are 10 VIP boxes for a total of 140 persons with underground car-parking spaces. A VIP box costs about 70,000 euro and additional costs for season tickets in the grandstands interior amounts to 6,000 euro per person.
The BayArena is still one of the few stadiums in the Bundesliga, which are still in the English style in the heart of the city. However, this also takes issues with local residents and the accessibility by private motor for themselves. This is solved by a shuttle bus system, which brings visitors arriving by car from the free parking Kurtekotten before the BayArena.
The BayArena has been the home ground of Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen since 1958.Beside these matches, the stadium hosts many other sport and artistic events such as concerts. Moreover, the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011th will be held there.
