The site of the old Bayfront Auditorium is now the Plaza De Luna, a proud new waterfront development on Pensacola’s Palafox Pier. Demolition of Bayfront Auditorium took place in 2005 to make way for this public park, named in honor of Tristan de Luna, the Spaniard who landed in Pensacola and established the first European settlement there. The park features a promenade, a stunning fountain, a sunset terrace and more.
