The Bindlacher Berg Airport (BYU), popularly known as Bayreuth Airport, is situated 5km from the city of Bayreuth in Bavaria, Germany. The airport does not operate standard flight routes of any airline, instead being used for charter, corporate and private flights. The airport offer special tourist services such as scenic flights over the region and the Alps. A number of high adrenalin sky sports are on offer too, with gliding being the most popular one.
