Manta Rota is a small village located near the city of Tavira, Portugal.

Manta Rota is located on the stretch of Algarve coast. Here tourists can find a lot of peace and relaxation, the place being very quiet and having some of the warmest sea temperatures on the Algarve. The beach has beautiful white sands and rolling dunes, making of it favorite for those who love to strong along the waters edge and is stretching for miles. Manta Rota village is mostly “quiet residential”, here are no mammoth apartments blocks and hotels in contrast to nearby Monte Gordo. This a good place for surfing, being on Algarve surfing hotspot scene, surfers reporting some big swells here at Manta Rota.

For transportation, car hire Algarve is highly recommended for going east to Vila Real de Santo Antonio and even across the Spanish border.
