The Bear Creek War Monument, located at 3535 War Memorial Drive off of Highway 6 in Houston, Texas, is a testament to those brave Americans who fought and died for their beliefs. Etched out of a red granite stone, the monument depicts a scene which reminds all those who view it of the courage and heroism of our fallen military personnel. It was erected to honor men and women who died serving their country in such wars as the Persian Gulf War, World War One, World War Two, the Vietnam War, and the Korean War. Visitors to the surrounding park are encouraged to take a few moments to honor and remember those who laid down their lives for our great nation.

The monument is open for viewing all day, and there is no cost to see it.
