Beihai Airport is one of the airports that provide passengers a mode of transportation in and out of the province, particularly in Beihai City. As what the name implies, the said airport is indeed located in Beihai of the Province of Guangxi. Currently, the airport caters to local travels and does not allow international flights to depart from their runways. Some of the airlines that frequently travel to Beihai Airport include the following: Air China, China Southern Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, and Juneyao Airlines.

The airport started its operations in 1998 as an expansion project. The sponsor of the creation of this structure is the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, and the building of the airport was completed in 2007. Actually, the airport was first established in 1987, but was expanded by 1994, so as to be able to cater to a larger flow of passengers in the airport. Currently, the area being covered by the Beihai Airport spans 3.6 square kilometers. Not bad for a relatively small airport.
