Beijing is one of the busiest cities in the world. There are simply so many things that are going on in the city that sometimes it may be seen that there is just not enough space to hold meetings, exhibits, conventions and more. One of the places that often hold these exhibitions and conventions is the Beijing Exhibition Center. The center was opened in 1954 as the very first large-scale exhibition venue in the city. The cutting of the red ribbon was performed by the late Premier Zhou En-Lai as well as Chairman Mao Tse-Tung sharing some thoughtful words.

The exhibition center has three East Wing exhibition halls as well as a single large hall plus an entertainment theater and restaurant that are located in the West Wing. Amazingly, each conference, trade show, or exhibition being held in the center has been memorable and successful without fail. To date, it has been standing for more than 40 years, even becoming a memorable landmark itself for those who have experienced being inside the convention center.
