Beijing Railways Station is one of the many railway stations in Beijing, China. The train station was opened in the 1950s and has an over-all design that merges traditional Chinese architecture with prevalent architectural in the 50’s. Beijing Railways Station is located in a central location in the city, right next to Jianguomen and within Beijing’s 2nd Ring Road.

Though the traffic load of the Beijing Railway Station has decreased after the 1996 opening of the Beijing West Railway Station, it still remains a busy station in the city. Several trains depart from this station including trains bound for Manchuria, Shandong, Eastern Seaboard and for both Outer and Inner Mongolia. Some of the cities that are passed by the trains departing from the station include Harbin, Shenyang, Dalian, Jinan, Nanjing and Hangzhou.
