Beijing Science and Technology University (BSTU) Gymnasium is an indoor that is located right inside the campus of BSTU. The arena covers a total floor space of 24,662 square meters and was constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

The Beijing Science and Technology University (BSTU) Gymnasium is comprised of a main gymnasium, a standard-sized swimming pool and 8,012 spectator seats. The venue was designed to hold the Taekwondo and Judo competitions for the Olympics as well as the Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby competitions for the Paralympics Games in 2009.

The gymnasium belongs to both the Olympics and to the university and was designed to complement its surroundings inside the campus premises. The structure takes full advantage of rainwater, sunlight, fresh air and many other renewable sources of energy to save power.
