The Belger Arts Center is a non-profit culture and art institute located in Kansas City, Missouri. It was founded in 1946, when the building, which is over 100 years old, was purchased from Kansas City Power and Light. The center plays host to a varied fine arts collection including the John and Maxine Belger Family Foundation collection with more than 1,500 pieces of art mostly from late 20th century American artists. There are works by Jasper Johns, Terry Allen, Renee Stout and William Christenberry, among others. Modern art works including 3D and 4D displays have been exhibited extensively since the first exhibition in March of 2000.
