Located at 119 South Main Street in Memphis, Tennessee, the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art was opened in 1998. It was originally titled the Peabody Place Museum, but in 2007 its name was changed to the Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art. It is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 am-5:30 pm and weekends from 12 pm-5 pm. The quaint museum houses a surprisingly vast array of both Asian and contemporary Judaic art. Among its collections, it maintains Asian art from the Qing Dynasty, as well as Jewish contemporary and historical pieces.
