Located five miles northeast of the City of Bend, Oregon, the Bend Municipal Airport (BDN) was originally developed as a landing strip for pilot training in World War II. Today, approximately 200 aircraft are based at Bend Municipal Airport, as well as a number of aviation-related businesses, including an office of Cessna Aircraft. The airport features a single, 5200-foot runway, and serves as the principal general and corporate gateway for Central Oregon, with nearby Roberts Field at the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) serving as the commercial service gateway for the region.

The Bend Municipal Airport is located at 63136 Powell Butte Highway in Bend, and transportation to and from the airport can be arranged by Bend City Cab at (541) 389-8090.
