Best is a railway station in the town of Best, in Netherland, on Line E, the line Breda to Eindhoven. The station is partially within a tunnel.
The station was opened on the 1st of July, 1866. The development of the railway in 1938, was the most important step in its evolution. On June 10, 1940 the station was reopened in the same location. The station building evolution has 3 phases. From 1864 to 1977 the station was a standard 5th grade station. The building consisted of an upper middle section with a short wing on both sides. In 1977 the station was demolished and replaced by a type Beilen station. This building was taken down in 2000. The station now consists of a glass canopy covering four platform tracks. The architect designing this station is T.J.B. Fikkers.
There is a (semi-) secure bicycle parking in a bicycle repair workshop, where OV bicycle are rented. The station provides parking for cars and a taxi rank and finally there is a bus stop for buses to Veolia The bus lines ensuring access to and from the station are: 141, 142 (between Tilburg and Best) and that of Hermes: 144 (Oirschot - Eindhoven) and 145 (Best - Eindhoven).
