Bill Snyder Family Stadium is the premier football arena in Manhattan, Kansas, and is used as the Kansas State University Wildcats' home field. The stadium opened in 1968, and was updated and renovated in 1980 and again in 1988, with the new addition of Superturf and a partially-enclosed area. In 1993, a multi-level press box and luxury suites were added, and now the seating capacity for the stadium stands at 50,300 people. Notable achievements seen on the field include the 26 consecutive home game winning streak by Kansas State, and the first night game win against the University of Kansas to the tune of a record crowd of 43,167 people. The stadium will see a planned update in the next few years, which will include enlarging the press box, adding suites, renovating restrooms, concessions, and the store, and building a limestone fence.
