Blackwater Stables is situated in the middle of Kerry county, Ireland. It is one of Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations thanks to its beautiful landscape and friendly atmosphere.

Blackwater Stables was set up in 2006 and is a family built and run yard. It has already become widely known for the standard provided to the general public and seasoned riders alike.

The services provided vary from a half hour and up to three hours riding around the scenic Blackwater area which is an ideal area for any beginner to advanced rider. All gear and training is provided with no additional cost.
All groups are accompanied by a qualified instructor with years of experience. The horses and ponies chosen for the treks are carefully chosen for their quiet temperament and are more than qualified for this kind of job.
1 hour trek involves a leisurely and peaceful ride through one local forests and costs €25 per person
2 hour trek involves an active and exciting ride with long winding paths through a much bigger forest with old ruins, holy wells and a lot of wild life to be spotted along the way with a cost of €50 per person.
3 hour trek an extension of the 2 hour and involves an active ride through the biggest forest and ending up going to the sea with a cost of €70 per person

The stables are also offering riding lessons for children and adults at an affordable rate.
The horseback riding lessons can range in skill level, from beginners, with little or no knowledge of horses, all the way to advanced riding lessons for those who know how to ride but want to improve their skills or sharpen them.
