Blair Drummond safari Park is located near Stirling, Scotland and is the only Scottish safari park.
As they drive to the park, visitors can view a number of animals from the cars. The park has plenty of animals to be seen: Pere David’s deer, Southern white rhino, ankole-watusi cattle, common rhea, dromedary camel, sika deer, African lions, amur tiger, Bactrian camel, ostrich, fallow deer and the north American bison. The park has many attractions, so the visitors should have plenty of time to visit all of them: a kid’s adventure area, peddle boats, bird of prey and sea lions displays, rides and amusements.
In the standard ticket are included a visit to the Lemur Land, a sanctuary for ring tailed lemur, red-ruffed lemur and white-fronted brown lemur. Here the visitors can watch the lemurs climbing in their trees and ropes and walk through the lemurs home. After the Lemur Land, visitors go to the Chimp Island, which is the home of three chimpanzees. Next on the list are the African Elephants. The main attraction here is that the visitors can get up close as the elephants present their feet, tail, mouth and years to the keepers for inspection and cleaning. After they have seen the elephants, visitors will go to see the sea-lion show, the bird of prey displays and the pet’s farm.
The nearest train station from Blair Drummond Safari Park is Stirling and from there is a regular bus service to the safari park.
