Situated in the middle of Puget Sound, off of the coast of Seattle, Blake Island State Park is a state-owned marine camping park in Washington. The 475-acre park is eights miles from the waterfront of downtown Seattle, and reachable only by tour boat or private watercraft. Blake Island offers visitors five miles of shoreline, providing unobstructed views of downtown Seattle and the Olympic Mountains.

The interior of Blake Island is comprised of a dense forest, with many walking and hiking trails for visitors, and the small marina provides 1500 feet of dock space and 20 moorage buoys. Blake Island State Park has 51 campsites, of which 16 are classified as “primitive”, and boats to and from the island run daily between May and September.

Blake Island State Park has no address, as it has no roads, however, charter cruises to and from the island are provided by Tillicum Village, an Argosy Cruises Company. These cruises operate out of 1101 Alaskan Way, Pier 55 in Seattle. Local hotel accommodations include the Edgewater Hotel, Seattle Marriott Waterfront, Ace Hotel Seattle, and the Inn at the Market.
