Bonafante Gardens, now known as Gilroy Gardens, is a horticultural-themed family theme park in Gilroy California. The park includes 19 rides, 27 attractions, six gardens and Axel Erlandson’s world-famous Circus Trees.
Bonafante Gardens opened in 2001. It struggled in its first years to get going, but it is now a thriving and popular area attraction. Its gardens are a sight to see and its rides and entertainment attractions are sure to please the entire family. Special events are held at the park throughout the year, ranging from business meetings to weddings. The park also hosts Natural Sciences Day and Play in the Gardens activities.
Admission fees vary depending upon seasons, but is generally around $30.00 for adults. Operating hours also change, so be sure to check out www.gilroygardens.org before visiting.
