Bordeaux Saint Jean train station is a railway station located in the French city of Bordeaux in the Gironde department. Nearly 30,000 travelers a day pass through this station.

The station was opened by the CF du Midi in 1898. Although, since 1988, the entire station has been renovated and modernized, it still retains some of its original properties. The station building is located in the center of Bordeaux, at the end of the "Cours de la Marne". It has a large roof, which was built by Gustave Eiffel; this is 56 m wide and measures about 17,000 square meters. The departure hall is an immense area of the nineteenth century built on two levels, illuminated by a large skylight. A large map of the network lines of railways du Midi from Bordeaux to Sète is painted in the departure hall. Metal constructions are the work of the company Daydé & Pillé.
