Bos en Lommer is a district of the municipality of Amsterdam in the Dutch province of Noord-Holland. The district has (in 2003) 30,660 inhabitants and an area of 2.71 km ². Bos en Lommer is situated on the west side of the city just inside the center ring road. Over 30,000 people live in this district. Only 7% of the residents are over the age of 65. This is the second lowest percentage in Amsterdam. Non western foreigners are represented most (56%). Only 10 percent of the inhabitants are western foreigners.
