The Boulder City Hoover Dam Museum and Historical Association is located in Boulder City, Nevada – the city marked by its proximity to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. One of only two cities in Nevada that prohibits gambling, Boulder City is located in one of the most naturally rich areas of the United States.

The Boulder City Hoover Dam Museum is located in the historic Boulder Dam Hotel. It tells the story of the Boulder Canyon Project and of those who built the Hoover Dam. On permanent exhibition are three-dimensional and interactive displays that explain the motivations behind and the process of the dam.

A fine compliment to a visit to the dam itself, the museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.
