Located at 50 Estero Boulevard, the Bowditch Point Recreational Park includes 7 acres of developed park and 10 acres of preserve area in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Purchased in 1987, it is situated on Estero Island and overlooks the beautiful waters of the backbay. On the park grounds, there are docks with 10 slips for boats up to 28 feet in length. There is no fishing allowed at these docks, however, and there is also no availability for overnight dockage. For those looking for a leisurely day activity that is a bit off the beaten trail, the park also has a paddlecraft launch into the nearby paddling trail. The Bowditch Point Recreational Park is largely used by walkers and beach-goers due to its numerous pristine walking trails and great views of the water.

Entrance is free and the park is open to the public daily from 8 a.m.-1/2 hour past sunset.
