The Brera District of Milan, located around the streets, Via Brera and Via Fiori Chiari is a lively area of the city. The Pinacoteca di Brera is an art gallery and cultural centre (www.brera.beniculturali.it), situated in the Palazzo di Brera. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday every week, from 08.30 to 19.15, and offers educational tours in addition to accepting day visitors. The museum focuses on mainly religious paintings and sculptures, and showcases work by: Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, Reubens, Rembrant and Van Dyck.
