The city itself is even more impressive: Brindisi was a part of the greek ancient kingdoms, the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the Norman Kingdom, Spain,and Austria. This mix of cultures and kings gave the city some astonishing monuments: The Castello Svevo, The Aragonese Castle, the Dome and many churches and museums. The city has an impressive natural harbor, therefore you can easily choose a destination on the mediterranean and go there on a cruise.
