Situated in the city of Stoke City on Stanley Matthew’s Way, Trentham Lakes, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 4EG, United Kingdom, Britannia Stadium represents the pride of the city and it is the home of Stoke City Football Club.

Stadium inauguration took place in 1997 on August 27, approximately one year from start of the construction, once the game of football counting for league cup Stoke City - Rochdale finished 1-1, when was scored first goal in the stadium by Graham Kavanagh for Stoke.

The Britannia Stadium is about 3 miles south of Stoke-on-Trent railway station but to reach stadium a car or taxi is the best solution. Near Stoke-on-Trent train station on match days buses run to the stadium at regular intervals from Glebe Street which is a two-minute walk away, first right out of the station and the next right to go under the bridge, then follow the road to the end and turn left into Glebe Street and buses depart on the left hand side by the church.

Prices for a ticket at a football match in Premier League is between 19 £ and 20 £, more or less, because the stadium also hosted a U21 international between England and Portugal on 16 April 2002 and playoff finals for the Conference National 2002-2003, 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 and hosting important football matches and prices vary.
