The Buckhorn Saloon & Museum in San Antonio, Texas has the largest and most extraordinary collections of mounted wildlife you will ever see. The Saloon’s history began in 1881 when hunters and trappers traded their conquests for beer or whiskey. Now the museum features several displays of all kinds of oddities and includes the Hall of Horns, Fins and feathers as well as the Hall of Texas History Wax Museum.

Visitors can also stop in the Buckhorn Saloon and Café as well as the gift shop, known as the “World´s Oddest Store”. The museum is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the rest of the year.
