The Buffalo Museum of Science is located at 1020 Humboldt Parkway # 1 in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park just to the north of the downtown district of Buffalo. The museum is housed in a historic building built by two of the area's well-known architects, Esenwein & Johnson.
The museum includes various exhibits focusing on animals, astronomy and technology among other issues. In particular, visitors will be able to experience the following exhibits: Connections, an interactive exhibit on cyclic patterns, light, biodiversity, and energy; Explorations, an interactive gallery aimed at young children with changing themes; Dinosaurs & Co., showing real fossils; Our Place in Space, an astronomy exhibit; the Marchand Hall of Wildflowers, which has a rare collection of plant species; Zoology, which contains a wide variety of mammals, reptiles, etc.; and a few other exhibits as well.

The museum's hours of operation vary according to the time of year and according to the exhibits on display. The admissions fee is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children and students with ID.
