The Buffalo Naval and Military Park is situated on the shore of Lake Erie in downtown Buffalo, near to the HSBC Arena and along Erie Street and Marine Drive. The official name of the park is the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park, which was inaugurated on July 4, 1979 (construction began two years earlier).

The principal attractions at the park are the three large sea vessels stationed along the shore: the USS Little Rock, a cruiser; the USS The Sullivans, a destroyer; and the USS Croaker, a submarine. In addition to these larger displays, the park includes a series of other smaller land and air military vehicles and items, such as helicopters, jets and tanks used by the military from WWII through Vietnam and later.

The park is open to the public for guided and self-guided tours between the months of April and November. From April through October, the hours of operation are daily from 10am-5pm, while in November they are Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm.

Admission charges for the park are set at $9 for adults, $6 for children and seniors, though there are special group, school and Scout ticket packages available.
