Burgas Opera House is located in the Bulgarian city Burgas, the second largest city on the Black Sea Coast in Bulgaria.

The opera house combines two major institutions: The Philharmonic Society and Burgas State Opera, and was established in 2000 as a joint institution but the Burgas Philharmonic exists as a State Society from 1947. The Opera House it’s a beautiful and full of old charm building and houses one of the most concerts in Burgas. At this particular venue are staged all of the group’s performances but on this stage are not performed just concerts but theatre plays, too. During the summer a plethora of festivals including the Annual Summer International Folklore Festival are held at the Opera House.

The Burgas Opera is managed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria. The society disposes a choral cast of 50 members, a big orchestra of 92 people, a ballet of 25 people, administrative and technical offices and 19 soloist opera singers. The tourists can go at the performances without stress even if they don’t speak Bulgarian because the tiles are performed in their original language and the repertoire is very rich. The Burgas Opera can be seen in other countries because it realizes regular concerts and opera tours all over Europe and United States.
